Premis Consulting Group was founded because we realized that while there were infinite sources for high-level technology strategy and management advice, there was a lack of practical “real-world” experience and tools in the consulting community when it came to doing the work. Many of the consultants we’ve worked with over the years had stellar consulting credentials, but had never managed a large organization through fundamental change from the inside of an organization. None had to balance executing the change while maintaining service to their clients.
We started this consulting firm because we have walked in your shoes. We have lead IT organizations through major change. We believe that experience has given us perspective that makes our services unique. Creating change requires a willingness to do brave things and many times the easiest part of the task is implementing the technology. A CIO needs to manage a tremendous amount of work while keeping an eye on the nuances. Our experiences as CIOs and Program Executives have helped us design a consulting method that dispenses with industry jargon, is pragmatic and tested by our own work.
